Yard Equipment Operator – Wheel Loader with Forks

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, safety‑focused Yard Equipment Operator to join our team in Caorso. You will operate a wheel loader equipped with forks to load, unload, and position heavy machinery and equipment throughout the yard, supporting auction and sales activities.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a wheel loader with forks to safely load and unload equipment from transport vehicles.
• Move and position machinery and equipment for sale preparation and customer inspections.
• Handle oversized and heavy loads while following strict safety procedures.
• Organise equipment in designated yard locations to maximise safety and efficiency.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks.
• Report mechanical issues, safety concerns, or operational risks to management.
• Collaborate with yard personnel, drivers, and site management to coordinate activities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating construction, industrial, or material‑handling equipment.
• Experience handling heavy, oversized loads.
• Valid operator certification or licence for earth‑moving or material‑handling equipment as required by local regulations.
• Strong understanding of safe lifting, loading, and yard operations.
• Ability to work outdoors in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
