Assistant Waiter

About the role

As an Assistant Waiter at Aman Rosa Alpina you will support the Chef de Rang and Head Waiter in delivering a flawless dining experience for guests staying in the historic mountain resort. The role combines table preparation, service assistance and close collaboration with kitchen staff to ensure each course flows smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Rang in serving food and beverages according to Aman standards.
• Prepare the dining area: polish silverware, set tables, stock stations and maintain mise‑en‑place.
• Clear tables discreetly, replace linens and keep the guest environment immaculate throughout service.
• Develop a basic knowledge of the menu and daily specials to answer simple guest inquiries.
• Communicate continuously with kitchen and back‑of‑house teams to guarantee timely delivery of dishes.
• Maintain and organise service pantries, cleaning equipment and service areas.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a high‑end restaurant or luxury hotel is preferred, but a strong willingness to learn is essential.
• Good command of English and Italian; German is a plus.
• Positive, energetic “can‑do” attitude and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and impeccable grooming.
