Board Member – National Council (Global Risks Alliance)

About the role

The Global Risks Alliance (GRA) is seeking senior leaders to join its Founding National Council for the 2026‑2030 period. As a Board Member you will help shape a new global risk‑management architecture, guiding national platforms that drive disaster resilience, risk financing and sustainable capital flows.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and strengthen the formation of the National Council and its three chambers (Leadership, Investor, Helix).
• Support activation of the National Desk and the build‑out of national institutional structures.
• Contribute to consortium building, strategic partner development and financing architecture design.
• Lead fundraising and financing campaigns to secure capital‑readiness for a nationally owned platform.
• Engage capital providers, strategic backers, development partners and corporate stakeholders.
• Structure national and regional enterprise consortium pathways and guide the transition from institutional design to practical scale.

Required profile

• Senior executive with a strong standing in finance, investment, insurance, banking, infrastructure, development finance or strategic enterprise.
• Proven board, investment or principal‑level experience.
• Demonstrated ability to lead fundraising, engage capital providers and build strategic partnerships.
• Experience in designing or supporting national‑level risk‑management or resilience platforms.
