Buyer – Finance & Planning Specialist

About the role

Epta is seeking an experienced Buyer to join its finance team in Casale Monferrato. The role focuses on planning, control, and financial analysis to support internal decision‑making and drive profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Utilise planning and control systems to produce timely management accounts, focusing on profitability, cash flow, working capital and cost reduction.
• Support programming and quarterly forecast processes by providing relevant data to management.
• Prepare ad‑hoc analyses and variance reports on sales, contribution margins and structure costs, delivering clear explanations and commentary.
• Assist in financial auditing, risk analysis and ensure compliance culture.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and accounting teams to analyse investment, sourcing, cost‑reduction and commercial performance.
• Maintain effective relationships with corporate functions, offering timely responses and value‑added improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar buyer or finance role.
• Management experience in a multinational environment is preferred.
• Fluent in English and a second language.
• Degree in Finance or Economics.
