About the role
We are seeking a Chef de Rang to deliver exceptional In‑Room Dining service at the iconic Four Seasons Hotel Venice. The successful candidate will ensure high‑quality, personalized dining experiences for guests in the privacy of their rooms, upholding the brand’s standards of luxury and hospitality.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver professional In‑Room Dining service, from setup to presentation, delivery and retrieval.
- Review orders for completeness and accuracy before delivery.
- Engage with guests courteously, anticipate needs and manage special requests.
- Coordinate closely with the Call Desk, Kitchen and In‑Room Dining Supervisors to ensure smooth service flow.
- Support service recovery by addressing guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service equipment, corridors and pantries.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety and HACCP procedures at all times.
- Act as a role model for service excellence within the In‑Room Dining team.
Required profile
- Previous experience as Chef de Rang or similar service role, preferably in In‑Room Dining or luxury hospitality.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Strong attention to detail and a genuine hospitality mindset.
Required skills
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
