Electricity & Automation Project Engineer – Portogruaro Plant

About the role

Provide support for Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), electricity and automation activities and participate in CAPEX projects at Nestlé Purina’s Portogruaro plant, ensuring business objectives, product quality and plant performance while safeguarding health, safety and the environment.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in capital investment projects, preparing specifications, coordinating user requirements and overseeing solution development, testing, implementation and training.
• Ensure process and equipment safety for people, products and the environment, and support the implementation of engineering tools at site level.
• Maintain compliance of all MES‑E&A installations with safety, health, environmental, product safety and quality standards, and keep documentation up to date.
• Drive continuous improvement by mastering process and product characteristics, aiming to enhance quality, safety and efficiency.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering.
• Minimum three years of experience in automation and/or MES engineering with an electrical background.
• Experience supervising technical teams, contractors or third‑party providers.
• Fluent in English; Italian is preferred.
