About the role

NextChem, part of the Maire Group, is looking for a dynamic and innovative Expediter to join its NX Engineering District in Catania. The role supports the development and optimisation of sustainable technology solutions that enable the energy transition.

Key responsibilities

• Define, with the Post Order Manager and the Expediting & Inspection Category Manager, the type and frequency of expediting activities in line with the assigned budget.
• Activate and maintain all communication channels with suppliers to ensure efficient progress throughout the supply process.
• Verify and agree with vendors on the main phases of supply, monitor compliance and highlight any negative deviations.
• Communicate deviations, expected impacts and recovery actions to the relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure vendors provide all contract‑required documentation, with particular focus on key documents needed for supply continuation.
• Monitor approval cycles for vendor documentation and facilitate interventions between vendors and technical services.
• Provide timely updates on supply progress to the post‑order structure, highlighting critical issues for shipping planning.
