About the role

SGS is seeking a Global Key Account Manager for its Softlines business in Italy. The role focuses on retaining top customers, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth across all Softlines segments.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and expand relationships with assigned key accounts, acting as a strategic advisor.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the Softlines industry and develop a network of contacts.
  • Collaborate with C&P locations, business departments, and client stakeholders to align service delivery.
  • Support business development and marketing initiatives, including promotions and events.
  • Prepare and present regular reports, revenue forecasts, and account performance metrics.
  • Transfer client feedback and innovative solutions to global technical teams.
  • Ensure alignment of services with global sales strategies and meet defined KPIs.

Required profile

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in a multinational organization, preferably in Softlines consumer products.
  • International business exposure with a strong understanding of the global Softlines market.
  • Proven experience in key account management, program management, or sales hunting.
  • Strategic planning and results‑oriented mindset.
