Global Technical Knowledge and Digitization Specialist

About the role

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Global Technical Knowledge and Digitization Specialist to shape the learning journey for more than 12,000 employees in the High Voltage Business Unit. You will design and launch the first global training centre of expertise, driving digitisation of curricula, assessments and knowledge assets.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the Cornerstone Learning Management System, handling course uploads, reviews and analytics while ensuring brand compliance.
• Coach managers, trainers and administrators on virtual instructor‑led training (VILT), online learning and instructor‑led training (ILT) digitisation.
• Create role‑ and skill‑based learning paths, internal certifications and map content to business needs.
• Develop and lead a global LMS Collaboration Network and produce knowledge assets such as guides, graphics and short videos.
• Collaborate with SMEs, instructional designers and cross‑functional leaders to prioritise and deliver high‑impact learning content.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in adult learning, training design or learning management within manufacturing, engineering or technology sectors.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred in technology, adult education, instructional design or related fields.
• At least 5 years of experience administering Cornerstone LMS.
• Comfortable working in a production plant environment and wearing required PPE.
