Importers Area Operational Manager

About the role

The Importers Area Operational Manager will drive commercial performance and provide operational support for Stellantis importers across the Enlarged Europe region. The role ensures sales targets are met, local action plans are executed, and operational issues are resolved while maintaining compliance with regional commercial policies.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute sales targets, launch promotional campaigns and work with Sales Planning to produce market forecasts.
• Define and plan monthly/quarterly purchase sell‑in orders with importers and coordinate execution with the Supply Chain function.
• Support allocation of sales allowances and control costs in line with the approved budget.
• Build trust‑based relationships with importers’ core teams, including P&S teams and CEOs, and develop local sell‑out action plans.
• Collaborate with HQ Marketing to address product, pricing and discount requirements specific to each importer.
• Manage variable discounts, evaluate extra promotional requests and coordinate approvals with Finance and regional directors.
• Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, lead escalation processes with cross‑functional HQ departments and monitor KPI‑driven action plans.

Required profile

• Solid background in area management, commercial operations or business development, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Experience working with importers or similar distribution networks.
• Proven ability to manage commercial planning, forecasting and financial alignment.
• Strong analytical mindset to monitor performance and drive corrective actions.
