In-Store Trainer – Luxury Retail (Milan)

About the role

As the first Prada Ambassador in the store, you will drive a culture of empathy, warmth, passion and proactivity, supporting the Store Manager to achieve business results and qualitative objectives. You will design, deliver and cascade training programs that enhance client experience, product knowledge and selling skills across all store levels.

Key responsibilities

• Identify training needs aligned with business priorities and develop action plans for the store and individual advisors.
• Deliver in‑store training sessions, coaching, daily briefings and best‑practice sharing.
• Collaborate with merchandising, CRM, events and other retail functions to organise joint training activities.
• Perform team gap analysis, create coaching plans and provide continuous feedback.
• Ensure full cascade of brand, client journey and product knowledge content.
• Monitor training quality, impact and retention, promoting a self‑learning culture using digital tools.
• Lead a coaching culture, focusing on selling skills, clienteling, styling and brand ambassadorship.
• Manage onboarding journeys for new hires, partnering with HR for induction.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in learning & development, HR, psychology or related field, or equivalent vocational training.
• 5+ years of experience in retail training or a retail managerial role.
• Completed trainer qualification and relevant professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of talent management and personnel development methods.
