Internal Auditor

About the role

The Internal Auditor will lead group‑level audit activities for the Prada Group, ensuring robust governance, risk management and internal controls across the organization. This senior position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on execution of audits in a dynamic, international luxury environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support management in developing and updating the annual audit plan based on risk‑based priorities.
• Design detailed audit programs aligned with internal methodologies and professional standards.
• Execute independent audit engagements covering administrative, accounting, operational and compliance processes, including Italian Law 262/2005, Legislative Decree 231/2001, GDPR, Legislative Decree 81/2008 and AML regulations.
• Leverage Data Analytics, Process Mining and AI‑based tools to enhance audit effectiveness and insight generation.
• Prepare high‑quality audit reports, maintain documentation and working papers, and monitor corrective action implementation.
• Assist in periodic reporting to the Board of Directors, Control and Risk Committee and other governance bodies.
• Contribute to enterprise‑wide risk assessment activities using frameworks such as COSO.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Management Engineering, Law or a related field.
• 7–8 years of experience in internal audit, risk or compliance within large multinational organisations.
• Previous experience at a Big Four firm is a strong plus.
• International exposure and/or Certified Internal Auditor qualification are advantageous.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
