Junior Retail Interior Designer (Mestre, Italy)

About the role

Interstore is looking for a Junior Retail Interior Designer to join its creative team in Mestre (Venice). You will contribute to the design of innovative store environments for both food and non‑food brands, working closely with senior designers and clients to bring fresh retail concepts to life.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development of concepts and creation of retail projects (food and non‑food).
• Plan layouts using AutoCAD.
• Design visual concepts—including interior finishes, furniture, flooring, and ceilings—using SketchUp 3D.
• Produce mood boards, sketches, and drawings to communicate ideas.
• Assist in preparing presentation materials for client meetings.

Required profile

• Degree in retail design, architecture, or interior design.
• First‑hand experience in interior design; retail experience is a plus.
• High standards of creativity and innovation.
• Fluent in English and French; good knowledge of Italian; additional languages (e.g., German) are a plus.
• Independent, proactive, well‑organized, and flexible.
• Team‑player with an open‑minded attitude.
• Willingness to travel for project sites.
