Lecturer – Education Focused Project Management

About the role

UNSW Canberra is seeking an Education‑Focused Lecturer in Project Management to deliver high‑quality teaching across postgraduate (and potentially undergraduate) programmes. You will work closely with the School of Engineering and Technology to design and deliver engaging courses that develop students' professional capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and assess students in Project Management subjects at postgraduate level.
• Design, develop and continuously improve curriculum and course materials.
• Supervise student projects and theses within the Project Management programmes.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues to innovate teaching approaches and enhance learning outcomes.
• Contribute to programme development, accreditation and scholarly activities.

Required profile

• PhD in Project Management or a closely related discipline, or a Master’s degree with substantial teaching experience.
• Deep understanding of project management principles, methodologies and best practices.
• Significant professional experience in the project management industry.
• Proven record of course development and delivery at postgraduate and/or undergraduate level.
