Legal Counsel

About the role

Kuehne+Nagel is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its national operations, ensuring compliance and mitigating legal risks across complex supply‑chain activities. You will work closely with business units to provide practical legal guidance that enables ethical and confident decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts with customers and suppliers.
• Prepare and assess legal documents such as NDAs, tender documentation, and Letters of Indemnity.
• Advise business and functional units on legal, compliance and data‑protection matters.
• Manage civil, criminal and labour litigations, including coordination with external law firms.
• Deliver training sessions on legal and compliance topics to internal stakeholders.
• Support consistent application of corporate policies, stakeholder agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely, practical legal guidance for business activities and transactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law.
• 2‑3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within transport or logistics.
• Experience with contract management, compliance (including Legislative Decree 231/2001) and data‑protection.
• Detail‑oriented, analytical and pragmatic mindset.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
