About the role

Greif is seeking a Machine Operator I to join its production team. The role involves operating routine machinery to manufacture packaging components while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production machinery according to prints and specifications.
• Produce required quantities of parts within established tolerances.
• Measure finished parts with precision tools to verify functional, quality, and cosmetic standards.
• Maintain production logs and report any errors or rejected pieces.
• Inspect equipment before use, perform basic adjustments, routine maintenance, and ensure proper setup.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and orderly while following all safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Up to 2 years of relevant production experience.
• Willingness to follow directions and work effectively in a team.
• Ability to interpret job specifications for machinery.
• Quick learner with a fundamental understanding of production equipment.
