Project Manager – Construction of Temporary LNG Building

About the role

Renco Spa is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the construction of a temporary building within the Total LNG project on the Afungi peninsula. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, from concept through hand‑over, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise engineering activities and the preparation of all technical project documents.
• Manage EPC phases including HSE, detailed design, construction supervision, contractual administration, inspection, and quality control.
• Control project budget, schedule, and interface with regulatory authorities.
• Oversee plant start‑up and ensure smooth turnover to the client.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of overall experience, with at least 5 years as a Project Manager on building or civil‑construction contracts exceeding USD 50 million.
• Proven ability to work independently, lead multicultural teams, and manage resources in remote locations.
• Fluent professional English and a degree in Engineering.
• Knowledge of construction contract law and strong problem‑solving attitude.
• Experience in Mozambique is a plus.
