Purchasing Leader

About the role

The Purchasing Leader will drive the sourcing strategy for key material categories such as leathers, fabrics, metallic accessories and other products. You will ensure optimal contractual terms, a solid supplier base and alignment with the brand’s quality, sustainability and innovation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement sourcing strategy for the assigned category.
• Negotiate framework contracts, pricing and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Assess and monitor supplier production capacity, quality capabilities and compliance.
• Identify and develop new sourcing opportunities that meet brand requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Planning, Compliance and Quality teams to ensure alignment.
• Analyze market trends and supply‑chain risks.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews in partnership with the Procurement Manager.
• Oversee purchasing of materials for new collections.

Required profile

• Degree in Economics, Management Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably in fashion or luxury.
• Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
• Good understanding of market dynamics for the assigned categories.
• English level B2 minimum; French is a plus.
• Strategic vision with long‑term orientation.
• Analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
