About the role
Mott MacDonald’s Energy unit is seeking experienced Senior Project Managers to lead multidisciplinary FEED and detailed design projects that support the global energy transition. You will work on high‑profile OCGT and CCGT projects for clients in the UK and across Europe, delivering engineering solutions from concept through to detailed design.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of complex energy projects (OCGT, CCGT) through feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases.
- Ensure project scope is delivered on time, to quality standards and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client representatives and internal stakeholders.
- Coordinate communications across multidisciplinary teams.
- Drive problem‑solving, decision‑making and commercial control under contract arrangements.
- Manage project risk for both the business and the client.
- Handle multiple projects concurrently to meet tight deadlines.
Required profile
- Proven experience delivering multidisciplinary design projects in the energy sector.
- Demonstrated ability to manage scope, schedule, cost, risk and commercial aspects.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Capacity to lead problem‑solving and decision‑making processes.
- Ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
