Soft Goods Packaging Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Soft Goods Packaging Designer to create innovative core and special‑edition packaging for our eyewear brands. The role combines creative visualisation with deep material knowledge to deliver packaging that reflects brand identity and meets production standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualise and visualise packaging designs for soft‑goods (textile, leather) across luxury, premium and entry‑level ranges.
• Develop 3D models and physical mock‑ups to validate form, function and material interaction.
• Produce technical drawings and detailed specifications for suppliers and internal production teams.
• Lead prototype development, oversee fittings, and adjust designs based on feedback.
• Monitor market trends to identify competitive opportunities and ensure brand consistency.
• Coordinate with product managers, engineers and external partners to ensure seamless transition from design to production.
• Maintain an organised archive of design concepts, samples and material libraries.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of soft‑case development and material properties (textile, leather) across different market segments.
• Experience in packaging design for consumer goods, preferably in the eyewear or luxury sector.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams and manage multiple projects.
