Software Engineer – Traffic Simulation Platform

About the role

HBK is seeking a passionate Software Engineer to advance VI-WorldSim, our cutting‑edge traffic management simulation platform. You will work on realistic agent behavior and mobility system improvements, collaborating with a global team of technology experts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the evolution of the agent simulation module within VI-WorldSim.
• Optimize and maintain existing C/C++ and Python code for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team to design and implement new features.
• Develop and maintain interfaces that comply with ASAM standards such as OpenScenario and OpenDrive.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of agent simulation techniques.
• Familiarity with ASAM standards (OpenScenario / OpenDrive).
• Solid foundation in vehicle dynamics and control system design.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
