Business Development Specialist

About the role

Holcim, a global leader in sustainable building solutions, is seeking a Business Development Specialist to support its growth in Italy. Based in Merone, you will work closely with the Business Development Manager and senior leadership to identify and evaluate new market opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the BD Manager in creating business cases, pricing models, and deal structures for potential targets.
• Support negotiations with prospective partners and contribute to the assessment of new projects.
• Provide strategic and analytical input for the yearly strategy process and enterprise risk assessments.
• Manage complex development projects, ensuring milestones are met across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Collaborate with country leadership and finance teams to set quarterly priorities and allocate resources to growth initiatives.
• Conduct market analyses, including customer portfolio and product stream evaluations, to inform decision‑making.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of progressive experience in business development or project management.
• Strong financial acumen and proven ability to drive year‑on‑year business growth.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present recommendations clearly.
