Shop Attendant – Hotel Boutique

About the role

Join the boutique team at Hotel Cala di Volpe, a luxury resort on the Costa Smeralda. As a Shop Attendant you will be the first point of contact for guests, providing friendly service and ensuring the boutique is presented to the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer product queries and assist in locating merchandise.
• Display items attractively, restock shelves, check expiration dates and discard expired products.
• Maintain a clean and orderly storeroom and boutique environment.
• Process sales, returns, refunds and exchanges using all payment methods; verify customer identification when required.
• Handle cash drawer, turn in monies and ensure accurate cash drops.
• Follow opening and closing checklists, secure the boutique and monitor for theft or damage.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain a professional appearance and protect confidential information.
• Assist guests with disabilities, answer telephone calls courteously and build positive relationships with colleagues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior retail or supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 10 lb, bend, twist and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to follow all hotel policies and procedures.
