Application Support Technician

About the role

The Application Support Technician will join a global Digital Solutions Managed Services team, providing Tier‑2 support for business‑critical applications and enterprise tools across Windows and Linux environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day Tier‑2 support and maintenance for business applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes and escalate complex incidents.
• Administer and troubleshoot MSSQL and open‑source databases.
• Support application releases, upgrades, configuration changes and deployments.
• Assist with structural application changes required during system upgrades.
• Respond to user queries from multiple locations and provide end‑user training when needed.
• Maintain technical documentation, system reports and knowledge‑base content.
• Participate in a rotating 24/7 on‑call schedule (approximately one week per month).

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in application maintenance, support or general IT support.
• Hands‑on experience with client/server applications and Windows/Linux environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Fluent English with solid written and verbal communication.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
