About the role
This entry‑level management position supports daily operations in housekeeping, recreation/health club and laundry at a luxury resort. You will work closely with staff to ensure guest rooms and public areas are clean, safe and well‑maintained while upholding budgetary targets.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate daily cleaning assignments, manage room status communication with the Front Desk, and oversee lost‑and‑found procedures.
- Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies, linens and guest amenities, and place orders as needed.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public spaces, providing feedback and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with Engineering for room maintenance requests and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and loss‑prevention policies.
- Supervise housekeeping staff in the absence of the Director of Services or Housekeeping Manager.
- Address guest complaints, review satisfaction feedback and promote exceptional customer service.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least one year of housekeeping experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams such as Front Desk and Engineering.
