Assistant Human Resources Manager – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Human Resources Manager to support our HR team at Splendido, a Belmond Hotel in Portofino. The role will help drive HR initiatives that enhance employee experience and support the hotel’s luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support full‑cycle recruitment, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Assist in planning and delivering training and learning initiatives.
• Help analyse HR reports and maintain HRIS data accuracy.
• Contribute to employer branding and talent attraction efforts.
• Administer employee benefits and wellbeing programs.
• Act as an ambassador of Belmond’s values, standards, and policies.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in hospitality.
• Proven experience across talent acquisition, training, and employee relations.
• Fluency in English; Italian knowledge is highly desirable.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented approach.

Required skills

• Familiarity with HRIS systems.
• Experience with HR reporting and analytics.
