Associate Attorney – Family Law

About the role

Autumn Beck Blackledge PLLC is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its boutique family law practice. This role offers the chance to work on diverse divorce and family law matters, providing compassionate advocacy, negotiation, and litigation for clients across a range of circumstances.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery, depositions, and mediation support for family law cases.
• Provide consistent legal guidance and client support throughout case lifecycles.
• Interview parties, research assets, and draft court filings, pleadings, and memoranda.
• Identify legal risks, develop case strategies, and coordinate with paralegals to meet client obligations.
• Attend hearings, conferences, and court appearances as required.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active, good‑standing membership in the Florida Bar.
• Strong intuition, work ethic, and academic record.
• Experience in mock trial, moot court, law review, or similar activities is a plus.
• Ability to explain complex legal matters to clients with limited legal knowledge.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Zoom and other video‑conferencing platforms.
