Associate Legal Product Counsel (Milan)

About the role

Satispay is looking for an Associate Legal Product Counsel to join its Milan team. You will act as a strategic legal partner throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring that new features and services comply with regulatory, commercial and consumer‑law requirements while supporting rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advisory and product counseling from ideation to market launch, drafting terms of service, promotional rules and customer‑facing documentation.
• Conduct regulatory and legal analysis of complex issues, liaise with authorities and ensure alignment with consumer‑protection laws.
• Advise on financial, commercial and consumer‑law matters related to B2C and B2B expansion of the Satispay ecosystem.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Tech, Strategy and Marketing teams to design legal solutions that balance growth and risk.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in reputable law firms or in‑house, focusing on technology, customer‑facing products and commercial/consumer law in Tech, Fintech or Insurance.
• Strong understanding of the fintech ecosystem, including payment schemes and wallet architectures.
• Strategic, risk‑based mindset with the ability to take smart risks and align legal advice with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and judgment, capable of influencing senior management and making decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
