Capacity Management Specialist

About the role

The Capacity Management Specialist supports CNH Industrial's Agricultural Purchasing organization by overseeing strategic supplier capacity and ensuring a smooth procurement process. The role is critical to preventing supply disruptions and aligning supplier capabilities with production plans.

Key responsibilities

• Map and manage capacity configurations of key suppliers and their value streams.
• Proactively identify and resolve capacity roadblocks based on monthly S&OP reviews.
• Organise and follow up on supplier surveys covering production plan validation, value‑stream mapping and market trend analysis.
• Monitor delivery performance and collaborate with manufacturing to implement backlog recovery actions.
• Support supply‑escalation processes for critical suppliers and address structural issues.
• Assist product development in detecting capacity bottlenecks for new products and define corrective actions.
• Participate in process‑improvement and tool‑development initiatives for capacity management.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) logic and systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain or related fields, with a focus on production planning and material management.
• Proficiency in creating Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations and using standard Office software.
• High analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of managing large data sets and anticipating risks.
• Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.
