Commis de Rang – Restaurant Service

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Commis de Rang to join the restaurant team at The St. Regis Venice. In this guest‑service role you will help create a memorable dining experience by supporting the front‑of‑house operations and ensuring smooth service flow.

Key responsibilities

• Set and clear tables, arrange linens and place settings according to service standards.
• Assist the kitchen staff by delivering food, refilling stations and restocking service items.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, work stations and service equipment.
• Replenish supplies such as cutlery, glassware and napkins throughout the shift.
• Support the team in handling guest requests, special dietary needs and any service issues.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Ability to stand, walk and move for extended periods on potentially uneven surfaces.
• Physical capacity to lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to work full‑time in a fast‑paced, luxury hospitality environment.
• No prior experience required; previous food‑and‑beverage exposure is a plus.
