Corporate M&A Lawyer (2-5 yrs PQE) – Milan or Rome

About the role

The boutique full‑service law firm is expanding its Milan office and seeks a qualified Italian‑qualified lawyer to join its corporate M&A team. The successful candidate will work on cross‑border transactions for international clients, covering a range of sectors with a strong focus on energy.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior partners in structuring and executing M&A transactions, including due diligence, drafting and negotiating agreements.
• Support private‑equity and venture‑capital deals, from acquisition to exit.
• Prepare and review commercial contracts, joint‑venture agreements, and related documentation.
• Provide legal advice on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and post‑transaction integration.

Required profile

• Admission to the Italian Bar.
• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in corporate M&A.
• Demonstrated experience with private‑equity, venture‑capital, and commercial contracts.
• Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Italian corporate law and M&A regulations.
• Experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents.
• Ability to manage multiple deals simultaneously.
