Country Manager – Italy

About the role

We are seeking a Country Manager for Italy to lead Playtomic’s operations, partnerships and business performance in the Italian market. The role will own the P&L, drive commercial success and ensure an outstanding experience for clubs and players.

Key responsibilities

• Own the P&L, growth and performance of Playtomic in Italy, aligning with global vision.
• Develop and execute a country growth strategy, identifying new business opportunities and strategic partnerships across the sports ecosystem.
• Lead, mentor and expand a local team of Customer Success Managers and specialists.
• Maintain and grow relationships with major sports clubs, chains and federations, ensuring partner satisfaction and retention.
• Monitor business metrics (revenue, activation, retention, satisfaction) and translate insights into actionable initiatives.
• Collaborate with Product and Marketing to adapt offerings to the Italian market.
• Negotiate and close strategic agreements that support expansion and brand leadership.
• Represent Playtomic at events, conferences and within the local sports community.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of the racket‑sports industry or experience working with clubs, venues or federations.
• 6+ years of experience in business operations, partnerships or customer success, preferably in sports, technology or hospitality.
• Analytical mindset with ability to turn data into strategy and measurable results.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and leadership abilities.
• Highly organized, strategic and comfortable in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Native Italian speaker and fluent in English.
