Cyber Security Architect

About the role

As a Cyber Security Architect at Sky, you will lead the design and implementation of security solutions that protect our systems, networks and data. You will embed Security‑by‑Design principles into new initiatives and drive the evolution of our infrastructure towards a robust Zero Trust model.

Key responsibilities

• Design security solutions to protect company systems and data, applying Security‑by‑Design from the earliest project stages.
• Identify vulnerabilities in existing systems and define remediation or mitigation actions.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to embed security best practices into business processes.
• Support security incident management and contribute to application security management.
• Define and update security policies in line with regulations such as NIS2 and GDPR.
• Promote internal training and awareness initiatives on cybersecurity.
• Stay ahead of emerging cybersecurity trends and continuously update strategies and technical skills.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Architect, Enterprise Architect or Solution Architect.
• Advanced knowledge of network protocols, operating systems and cryptography.
