Development Operations/Cloud Systems Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Development Operations/Cloud Systems Administrator to join our fast‑growing iGaming and sports media team. You will own and evolve the cloud infrastructure that powers our platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage Hetzner Cloud and server infrastructure.
• Build and maintain production‑grade Kubernetes clusters.
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD workflows.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimise uptime.
• Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies and encryption.
• Drive containerisation strategy using Docker and Helm.
• Collaborate with development and data teams to align infrastructure with product needs.
• Plan and execute updates, backups, and disaster‑recovery procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Cloud Systems Administrator, DevOps Engineer or similar role.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and ability to work independently.
• Clear communication skills and collaborative attitude.
• Highly organised with attention to detail.
• Very good command of English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ideally based in Naples.

Required skills

• Hetzner Cloud (server provisioning, networking, firewall management).
• Kubernetes (cluster setup, scaling, management, troubleshooting).
• Docker and Helm.
• CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Monitoring solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
• Basic knowledge of AWS (optional).
