Early Years Teacher – Reggio Emilia Approach

About the role

Inspired Education Group is seeking an experienced Early Years Teacher to join the St. Louis School Colonna Campus from August 2026. You will work in a child‑centred, Reggio Emilia‑inspired environment that encourages creativity, independence and a lifelong love of learning.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the school’s Positive Behaviour Policy and pastoral initiatives aligned with its mission and values.
• Plan and deliver engaging, student‑centred lessons for 3‑5‑year‑olds using a Reggio Emilia approach.
• Participate in school trips, assemblies and extracurricular activities to enrich student experience.
• Collaborate with colleagues to use assessment data effectively for student progress.
• Engage in staff training, school improvement initiatives and support extra‑curricular programmes.

Required profile

• University degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching 3‑5‑year‑olds, preferably in a Reggio Emilia‑inspired setting.
• Strong understanding of assessment and data tracking to support student progress.
• Commitment to personalised, inclusive learning.
• Flexibility to integrate into an existing Early Years team for a maternity cover.
• EU passport or valid visa to work in Italy; knowledge of the UK National Curriculum is a plus.
