Global Commercial Director – Event Agency (French speaking)

About the role

We are seeking a Global Commercial Director to lead the commercial function of our event and experiential agency. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will drive growth across international markets, shape commercial strategy, and ensure the agency continues to deliver innovative experiences for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop international business development and commercial teams.
• Define and execute the global commercial growth strategy, identifying priority markets, sectors and clients.
• Build a data‑driven commercial function with robust pipeline management, forecasting and conversion discipline.
• Engage senior‑level client conversations and support strategic opportunities.
• Foster a high‑performance commercial culture based on accountability and results.
• Champion smarter ways of working, leveraging AI, technology and data to improve effectiveness.
• Partner with leadership to align commercial priorities with broader business goals.
• Oversee commercial marketing assets, proposals, case studies and market‑facing content.
• Position the agency as the partner of choice for global event and experiential programmes across sectors such as healthcare, technology and automotive.

Required profile

• Significant commercial leadership experience within an event or experiential agency.
• Proven track record of driving international business growth through data‑informed decision‑making.
• Experience leading and developing high‑performing commercial teams.
• Strong understanding of pipeline management, agency economics, forecasting and KPI‑driven growth.
