About the role

The Hostess at Bar Dandolo is the first and last point of contact for guests, creating a warm and elegant first impression and ensuring a seamless dining experience. You will work closely with the service team to manage guest flow, reservations, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with warmth, professionalism, and natural elegance.
• Manage the host stand, review the reservation book, and coordinate seating assignments.
• Answer telephone calls, handle reservations, provide restaurant and hotel information, and manage waitlists during peak periods.
• Escort guests to their tables promptly, respecting preferences and ensuring smooth service flow.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of the entrance, host stand, and dining room sections; inspect tables before opening.
• Develop full knowledge of the menu, dishes, ingredients, and concept to inform guests and support the service team.
• Recognize regular guests, anticipate needs, and personalize interactions.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as updating reservation records.
