Host/Hostess – Lake Como EDITION – 2026 Season

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Host/Hostess to join the front‑of‑house team at The Lake Como EDITION for the 2026 season. The role involves welcoming guests, managing seating arrangements and ensuring a smooth dining experience in our lakeside restaurant.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, determine party size and escort them to a clean, prepared table.
• Pull out chairs, present current menus, and ensure each setting includes a napkin, clean silverware and any other required items.
• Arrange tables and chairs for groups with special needs and monitor dining‑room flow.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift, following clean‑as‑you‑go procedures.
• Check menus for accuracy, cleanliness and proper presentation.
• Observe safety, service standards and guest well‑being, reporting any incidents to the manager.
• Adhere to uniform standards, company policies and confidentiality requirements.
• Answer telephone calls with professional etiquette and support team members to achieve common goals.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality guest service.
