HR Business Partner

About the role

Grupo Planeta is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join its Rome office. The role combines full‑cycle HR management with strict compliance to Italian labour regulations, supporting a diverse, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Employee Relations & Legal Compliance: anticipate legal risks, maintain personnel files, GDPR consents, and advise leaders on disciplinary procedures, contracts and working‑time arrangements.
• Health, Safety & Well‑being: monitor medical examinations, safety training and promote employee well‑being initiatives.
• Compensation & Payroll: coordinate with external payroll providers, ensure data accuracy and compliance with the National Collective Labour Agreement (CCNL).
• Recruitment & Employer Branding: partner with managers to define hiring needs, manage recruitment cycles and guarantee a consistent candidate experience.
• Onboarding: handle contracts, tax/social‑security registration (INPS/INAIL) and deliver structured induction programmes.
• Performance & Development: support goal‑setting, performance reviews, talent calibration and coordinate training plans.
• Engagement & Off‑boarding: conduct exit interviews, analyse turnover and manage severance (TFR) and Certificato Unico handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Labour Relations.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HRBP in Italy, with full employee life‑cycle ownership.
• Strong knowledge of Italian labour law, CCNL negotiations and Law 68/1999 (protected categories).
• Fluent Italian (C2) and English (C1); Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent organisational skills, business acumen and the ability to anticipate legal/employee‑relations risks.
• Experience with immigration procedures, compensation analytics or basic accounting is highly valued.
