HR Generalist

About the role

The HR Generalist supports core people management processes for Huber Engineered Materials in the Bologna area. Working closely with HR Business Partners, managers and employees, the role blends operational HR duties with organizational development initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment cycle for blue‑collar workers and junior white‑collar staff, from sourcing to interview coordination.
• Support HR Business Partners and the Talent Acquisition team in recruiting senior professionals, middle management and higher‑level positions.
• Coordinate onboarding activities to ensure smooth integration of new hires and continuously improve the onboarding experience.
• Identify training needs, help develop local annual training plans and organise learning activities with internal and external providers.
• Oversee training operations, including scheduling, logistics, attendance tracking, reporting and administration of training funds such as Fondimpresa and Fondirigenti.
• Act as a primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing HR support and identifying opportunities to enhance the employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for both blue‑collar and junior white‑collar roles.
• Experience supporting senior‑level recruitment and onboarding initiatives.
• Strong organisational skills for planning and executing training programmes.
• Effective communication skills to serve as a liaison between employees, managers and HR partners.
