Human Resources Assistant

About the role

Philogen, a Swiss‑Italian biotechnology company, is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support its HR department. The role offers a unique opportunity to develop cross‑functional HR expertise while contributing to day‑to‑day operations in a structured, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the HR team with daily operational and administrative tasks.
• Participate in recruitment processes, including drafting job ads, screening applications, and coordinating interviews.
• Maintain personnel documentation and accurate employee records.
• Handle travel expense reporting for employees on business trips.
• Assist in managing and verifying monthly attendance records.
• Support analysis and monitoring of personnel costs.
• Contribute to the organization of corporate events and travel arrangements for senior management.
• Provide general administrative assistance and help improve internal HR processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Economics, Human Resources or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in HR support or administration.
• Good knowledge of HR administrative processes, personnel documentation and labour law.
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
• High level of accuracy, reliability, discretion and confidentiality.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn across HR areas.
