About the role
Amazon's IT Services team is looking for a passionate IT Support Engineer I to provide on‑site technical assistance to corporate employees. You will ensure laptops, servers and other equipment operate smoothly, enabling teams to develop the technology that powers businesses worldwide.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver hands‑on, on‑site support by diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Provide on‑call support for high‑severity incidents and act as an escalation point.
- Assist in triaging and escalating system or network outages to minimize downtime.
- Execute change‑management activities in a high‑availability environment.
- Collaborate with partner teams and vendors on continuous‑improvement projects.
- Maintain and oversee IT asset inventories.
- Participate in hiring, training and mentoring of new team members.
Required profile
- Customer‑focused mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with technical and non‑technical staff.
