IT Technician

About the role

The IT Technician will provide daily technical support and manage IT resources for the Santhià plant of Adler Evo srl. The role focuses on end‑user satisfaction, troubleshooting, and maintaining a stable IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide prompt technical assistance to end‑users for hardware and software issues.
• Maintain, repair, and upgrade desktops, laptops, peripherals, and related equipment.
• Install, configure, and update software applications.
• Assist with network configuration, connectivity issues, and basic protocol settings.
• Support cybersecurity measures, including access controls and antivirus software.
• Maintain accurate documentation of hardware/software inventory and support tickets.
• Use the IT ticketing system to track, prioritize, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Perform routine system maintenance such as updates and patches.

Required profile

• Proficiency in desktop and server operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of network protocols and configurations.
• Strong written English; verbal communication skills are a plus.
• Availability to travel to neighbouring plants.
• Leadership, excellent time‑planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility, enthusiasm, teamwork, and ability to work under pressure.
