Italy & Spain Legal Counsel – Full‑time

About the role

As the Italy & Spain Legal Counsel you will be the primary legal reference for the business in both countries. You will support the commercial strategy, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance with local corporate and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial, procurement, IT and real‑estate contracts.
• Provide legal assistance throughout public and private tender processes.
• Manage litigation and pre‑litigation matters in coordination with external counsel.
• Handle customer complaints and support HR on employment disputes and union relations.
• Oversee corporate secretarial duties and ensure accurate record‑keeping in Italy and Spain.
• Assist with data‑privacy compliance and related policies.

Required profile

• Law degree with qualification to practice in Italy and/or Spain.
• Several years of experience in corporate, commercial and litigation matters, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Fluent in English and Italian; Spanish is a strong advantage.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and support senior management.

What we offer

• Gross annual salary €85,000‑95,000 plus a 10% performance‑based bonus.
• Permanent full‑time contract (8 h/day).
• Direct reporting to the CEO and Market Leader, functional reporting to the Group General Counsel.
