Junior Contract Manager

About the role

As a Junior Contract Manager you will support the Proposal and Sales teams during offer preparation and negotiations, and assist Project Managers throughout contract execution. You will analyse contractual and legal risks, help mitigate them, and ensure compliance with Italian law.

Key responsibilities

• Provide clear contractual analysis and advice to sales/proposal and project teams.
• Manage daily commercial and contractual issues and support negotiations.
• Review client and supplier correspondence and draft official replies.
• Prepare variation orders, change requests, and claims, defining related strategies.
• Monitor contractual obligations, manage claims, and ensure alignment with agreed terms.
• Resolve disputes at the pre‑litigation stage and draft settlement agreements.

Required profile

• Degree in Law.
• At least 3 years of post‑qualification experience.
• Strong understanding of contract risks and their legal/financial consequences.
• Excellent knowledge of Italian Civil Law and general contractual standards.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment on contract claim issues.
• Proficiency in Italian and English.
• Eligibility to work in Italy.
