Junior Reception & Bar All‑Rounder (Hostel)

About the role

YellowSquare is seeking enthusiastic junior staff to join its vibrant hostel community in Rome, Milan, Florence or Athens. As a Reception & Bar All‑Rounder you will be the front‑line host, creating memorable experiences for international travelers while juggling reception duties and bar service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, manage check‑ins and check‑outs with a friendly attitude.
• Prepare and serve coffee, drinks and snacks behind the bar.
• Promote hostel events and local city experiences to enhance guest stays.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and keep daily operations running smoothly.
• Collaborate with the entire team to maintain high energy and service standards across all departments.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in reception, bartending or barista roles.
• Strong team spirit and ability to work across different areas.
• Flexibility to work 5 days a week on rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Excellent customer‑service mindset and genuine passion for hospitality.
• High proficiency in spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
