Lead Internal Auditor

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Lead Internal Auditor to join its Audit and Compliance (A&C) group. Based in Turin, the role involves conducting energy, environmental, health & safety (EH&S) compliance audits across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Far East.

Key responsibilities

• Review business operations to assess compliance with regulatory and company EH&S requirements.
• Gather data through on‑site inspections, document reviews, and staff interviews.
• Check permits, KPIs, maintenance and inventory records for compliance.
• Evaluate management systems, procedures and monitoring programs against ISO EEH&S standards.
• Assess employee training programs and work‑environment compliance.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and improvement recommendations.
• Cross‑review work papers prepared by other auditors.
• Present audit results to managers and directors and follow up on action‑plan implementation.
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and monitor the status of corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong organizational, leadership and communication abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to travel extensively across EU, MENA and APAC regions.
• Experience in conducting EH&S compliance and management‑system audits.

Required skills

• ISO environmental management system certification.
• ISO health and safety management system certification.
• ISO energy management system certification.
• EH&S audit methodology.
