Lecturer or Senior Lecturer – Teaching & Research in Law

About the role

UNSW Law & Justice is seeking a Lecturer (Level B) or Senior Lecturer (Level C) to join the School of Global and Public Law. This full‑time, 35‑hour per week, fixed‑term position runs for two years and involves both teaching and research responsibilities across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and assess courses in the LLB, JD and LLM programmes, covering public law, administrative law, constitutional law and law in the global context.
• Develop and maintain an independent research agenda that contributes to the School’s research culture.
• Participate in faculty governance, curriculum development and community engagement activities.
• Supervise honours, Masters and doctoral students and contribute to scholarly publications.

Required profile

• Doctorate or equivalent qualification in law with a strong record of research in public law, administrative law, constitutional law or international law.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Experience appropriate to the Lecturer or Senior Lecturer level, including scholarly publications and grant acquisition.
