Legal Intern – IT & Data Protection (Milan)

About the role

Amazon’s Legal Department in Italy is seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support its fast‑growing business. Based in Milan, the 6‑month internship starts in September 2026 and offers exposure to a wide range of legal matters, especially in IT, data protection, consumer protection, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist local and international business teams with legal research and analysis on development projects and day‑to‑day operations.
• Prepare responses to internal client queries and draft basic legal documents.
• Participate in cross‑border projects aimed at simplifying and innovating the Legal Department’s processes.
• Support the team in handling data‑privacy, consumer‑protection, and compliance issues.

Required profile

• Law degree (or LL.M.) obtained within the last year with excellent academic record.
• Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
