Legal Regional Counsel – EMEA

About the role

We are seeking a Legal Regional Counsel to act as the trusted legal partner for our EMEA operations. In this highly autonomous position you will provide end‑to‑end legal support across commercial, corporate, compliance and operational matters, helping business leaders balance risk with growth.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including sales, procurement, distribution, licensing, services and technology contracts.
• Support corporate governance activities such as board resolutions, filings and maintenance of legal entities across the region.
• Ensure compliance with EMEA laws, including competition law, GDPR, employment law and industry‑specific regulations; develop policies and training.
• Advise HR on employment contracts, policies, terminations and employee relations; support investigations.
• Manage disputes, claims and litigation, coordinating with external counsel and providing risk‑mitigation guidance.
• Act as a proactive strategic partner to senior management, embedding legal considerations into business decisions and supporting M&A, joint ventures and other projects.
• Select, instruct and oversee external law firms to ensure cost‑effective, high‑quality service.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in an EMEA jurisdiction.
• 8+ years post‑qualification experience, preferably with both private‑practice and in‑house exposure.
• Broad experience in commercial, corporate, compliance and employment law.
• Strong knowledge of EMEA regulatory frameworks, especially GDPR.
• Fluency in English; additional EMEA languages are a plus.
• Self‑starter with high initiative, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
